About me

My name is Daniella, and I am a health and fitness content creator who lost 115 pounds naturally in two years and have kept the weight off for six years. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and I am first-generation Mexican, Persian, and Italian. Growing up, I saw a huge lack of representation of my culture in health spaces, so I decided to create my own.

I believe, and am living proof, that you do not need to give up your cultural roots or follow fad diets to life a healthy life. My love for cooking started as a little girl watching my parents run their own restaurant, and my passion for health continued well after my weight loss journey. During my undergraduate journey at UCLA, I was the project director for a holistic health organization where I worked alongside registered dietitians, directed health education classes, and motivated students and community members to take control of their own health.

I am very passionate about making health education more accessible and attainable to communities who aren't usually represented in the conversation. I am so excited to continue this journey with sharing my recipe eBook with you all!
